Friends of Mandritsara Trust UK (FoMT) is a registered charity (number 1092709) regulated by the Charity Commission and a company limited by guarantee regulated by Companies House. It was registered in England and Wales on 24 December 2001, with registered number 4345183 and is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association.

In the UK FoMT is managed by a board of Trustees. Their details are listed on the Charity Commission website.
In Mandritsara the work of FoMT is managed by the Field Team Leader, Mat Linley, where it operates as Amis de Mandritsara (AM-FM), and is a registered NGO. This helps with the importation of medicines and materials and with obtaining work permits and visas for missionary and visiting personnel.
Hopitaly Vaovao Mahafaly (HVM) is led by Dr Adrien, the hospital Director and Malagasy surgeon, and managed by the ‘Comité de Direction’ (CD). The AM-FM Field Team Leader, attends the CD.
The CD is overseen by the Board or ‘Conseil d’administration’ (CA) which is comprised of:
- 3 or 4 members of the Association of Bible Baptist Churches in Madagascar (FFBBM);
- 2 or 3 members of FoMT (which includes Mat Linley)
- 2 technical people proposed by FFBBM (one finance and one medical), and
- the Director of the hospital.
So the project is Malagasy led and managed, with some input from FoMT/AM-FM.
