Receiving gifts under Gift Aid increases your donation by 25% at no cost to you or the Trust. All you need to do is complete a Gift Aid declaration.
However, only those paying sufficient UK tax (Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax) are able to use the Gift Aid scheme. The Gift Aid Declaration includes the following wording:
I want to Gift Aid any donations I make to Friends of Mandritsara Trust in the future or have made in the past four years.
I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that Gift Aid is reclaimable from the tax that I pay for the current tax year.
So if you are able to sign the above declaration, you may either:
- download our Gift Aid Declaration form – it contains details of how to complete and where to send it. Once signed you may either post it to the address on the form, or scan it and send the scanned file to the treasurer’s email address on the form; OR
- complete our online Gift Aid declaration, and save on postage!
