Meet the AMFM Overseas Missionary Team working in Mandritsara
The Good News Hospital is staffed by a number of young local clinicians, but we still rely on the help and supervision of more senior medical and surgical colleagues from across the globe, as well as supporting workers for the missionary families.

Louise Little
Louise is a nurse at the Good News Hospital, originally from Northern Ireland.
Daniel and Nadine Kradolfer
Daniel and Nadine Kradolfer from Switzerland serve in Mandritsara as a surgeon (Daniel) and as an English teacher (Nadine). They have joined the team with their two kids in 2022.
Hilde Vlaminckx
Hilde first came to Mandritsara in 1997 to use her nursing expertise. She is the AMFM deputy team leader and is involved in the management of the hospital. From Belgium, Hilde writes her newsletters in Flemish.
Ted and Rachel Watts
Ted and Rachel are sent from Beeston Free Church in Nottingham, UK, and have been serving in Mandritsara long term since 2017. Ted is a surgeon and Rachel spends some of her time doing paediatrics, as well as educating their two children. Ted is the AMFM team leader.
Brendan and Shannon Petersen
Brendan and Shannon are from Sydney, Australia and have been serving in Mandritsara with their 2 kids (Willow and Josiah) since November 2021. Brendan is a GP with an interest also in Community Health and Shannon is a GP with additional training in Obstetrics.
Julian and Debbie Hardyman
Julian and Debbie Hardyman came to Mandritsara in May 2023, following a call from God to share in the love of Christ with the Tsimihety people and to work as a dentist and pastor/bible teacher. Julian’s grandparents were missionaries in Madagascar and his father was born here. Their sending church is Eden Baptist Church, Cambridge, where Julian was pastor for 26 years.
