Meet Miora

This week we'd like to introduce to Miora, who is a close friend of many of the missionaries and we'd love you to pray for her as she takes on a new role.

Miora writes.....

I am originally from the capital, Tana, but moved with my family to Mandritsara 13 years ago. I have worked at the hospital for four years now. I serve God by being an administrator for the missionaries. This involves liaising with government departments, preparing visas and work permits. I really love my work. It has brought me many blessings and it's a real privilege to work on God's project. I am stepping in for Bako (until she recovers from her eye problems) as the malagasy language teacher to missionaries. Please pray for me as I learn how to teach Malagasy well, in particular with the new family, the Hinds, who just arrived in Mandritsara at the end of January. I am anxious that I don't have much experience and Bako is a very good teacher. However, I trust that God has called me to do this work and that he will help me as he has always done in the past.

My husband Rija works at the government hospital and I have three girls, Mija (11), Tiasoa (6), and Kaliana (3).

Do pray for my family as it will be more of a challenge now I am going from part time to full time work.
