Prayer Requests for the New Year

Happy New Year from the team in Mandritsara. Here are a few prayer requests as we start the new year.

Thank God that Dr. Nathan Lawrence recovered from covid recently and was able to get back on the ward to be oncall on Christmas day. For the Lord upholding Dr. Rachel Watts and Dr. Rado as they shared the heavy medical load between them for the 10 days that Nathan was ill.

The cases of Covid are rising again in Mandritsara and although people aren't seriously ill, there is a lot of staff sickness. Pray for protection and that the hospital will still be able to function effectively.

We are thankful that the president has kept the borders open and the LIFT team were able to come from Northern Ireland to do the wiring of the new surgical block which will hopefully open later this month.

Continue to pray for gospel opportunities and that we as a project, we might have focus, vision and unity.

Please pray for the nursing students graduating from the nursing school this month. Pray that as they start their careers, that they would get into gospel habits of really loving patients and naturally sharing the gospel with people of their own initiative.
